If Shawn Marion was in his prime I think he could. George has the athleticism to keep up with lebroid, and the length. Ibaka down low has hops and speed. Kg would get in his head and rattle him.

I think that out of the options given, TA, Deng, and Iguodala would do the best job attempting to guard Lebron. I also think Melo and KD can do a decent job just because the matchups force Lebron to work just as hard on the defensive end

Maybe a Dennis Rodman in his prime allowed to play the physical defense of the early 90s.



Outside of that, no one.  Sure, some might be able to slow down parts of his game, but no one is going to contain him.

Out of the list given I have Green, Iggy, Pierce (maybe a few years ago but can still out mental him and muscle him up a bit), and Melo because of his size. Green played great on him. But really, James can beat anybody at anytime, especially when he is driving to the basket.

My vote is for Jeff.

I understand that he cannot fully stop him but he has done a really good job holding him down. He seems to be fully engaged on defensw too when he's goin against LBJ.

I'll add Kobe to the mix here. He wont be able to completely stop him, but Kobe will bother LeBron a plenty

There is not a single player in the NBA that can contain LBJ.

Until game 6 against the Cs during last season's playoffs, there was only one player who could stop/contain LBJ. And that was LBJ himself.

I believe this is the case for the next few years. However, there are two exceptions:

1. Kevin Durant. He's not there yet defensively and may never be, but given his length, he could at least make LBJ work a little. Plus, he could match LBJ offensively, but again, he's not there yet.

2. Savannah Brinson.
