OOOh, Bass at center.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

If you were White/Randolph; Would you want to rot on the bench and watch your team make a nice playoff run or sign with a bad team and show what you can do?
Shavlik Randolph is not an NBA player. He can keep his butt glued to the bench.

I'd like to see DJ White get a small amount of minutes.
how much of his recent play have you actually seen..?

Saw a fair bit of him in Philly. Last time I saw him play was for Miami.

A weak defensive player. A useless offensive player. Was a good rebounder once upon a time ... but then he got hurt and he was never the same player again. He doesn't belong in this league anymore.

Injuries took his career from him.
well...based on that...why did they sign him....? Robinson that is...

I have no idea. But I don't expect him to stay long.

Several teams have looked at S.Randolph over the last few years and they have all come to the same conclusion = damaged goods, not good enough to play in NBA anymore.

I would be shocked if they signed him for the rest of the season. I expect they will have seen enough in this first 10 day contract to know he is not going to help.

as usual, no one on the celts even moves to the rim as the shot goes up.....they actually move the other way.....classic doc-ology=anti fundamentals....in the bird years, doc would have been...barred from entering the bldg...!

Thanks anyway....you know how I play.....or did..LOL..still hope for the old dog....in my league anyway...which is a talented...young player league.....on an airforce base.....so you know they are in shape..!!!

Green isn't covering himself in glory today. Needs to settle down and play his game.

Bass is an ok individual big man defender...the problem is the team/help defense

Me too. I would have loved to have seen Danny Ainge sign Kenyon and Chris Andersen. Those two guys would have really bolstered Boston's big man depth, interior defense and team rebounding.
