Yes, because you know at any moment he could catch fire and rattle off points in a hurry.

I think having him under control for another year with a qualifying offer makes the deal we made for him highway robbery.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Obviously Jordan is infected with the need to chuck. A lot of players are like that. What the C's need to do is coach him to be an efficient chucker and then turn him into a Vinnie "Microwave" Johnson type player that comes off the bench, plays good defense and lights it up for instant offense.

I could see him sticking here next year making Jason Terry very expendable this summer.

He's absolutely not fun to watch!  He's annoying and scares the heck outta me everytime he touches the ball.  Seriously he needs to relax.  I like his energy but it needs brought down a notch or two.

He's kind of fools gold, the fact that he can get hot and make some shots is good, the fact that you need him to do that is bad. Although I didn't see a lot of him I liked Williams a little better.

Sorry, but I don't think he is fun to watch.

I cringe everytime he has the ball.  His Basketball IQ must be in the 20s.  Always makes the wrong decision - shooting or passing.

He has ways to go to play the game the right way.

We've got to keep a very short leash on this guy.

He always looks like he's about to fall apart, like a mannequin, whenever he moves.

Sorry but I disagree.
He has the keys to shoot, that's his role.
So any shot that he's comfortable with he's gonna shoot that. I personally like the unpredictability of his game.
This kid can score 10 points in 3 minutes, that's what we're lacking right now, instant offense. All he has to do is learn how to play Celtics defense and he'd be a great back up guard.

And it looks like he's bought it.  Anyone else notice the primal scream he let out when he committed that turnover in the 2nd?

You think he would've cared that much a month ago with the Wizards?

  • Ashy To Classy, baby.
Give him a couple years. If he's still with the team by the time he enters his prime, I have a feeling he'll be reminiscent of J-Crossover, less playmaking, better D. BUT he needs to work on his shot selection (understatement).

Seems like he has the motor, although his face reminds me of Sean Williams'; that face he used to make when livin' the dream, making fat stacks, warming an NBA bench.

My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Yeah he was so upset. I kinda liked it. That means he cares and he knows he made a mistake. He was looking to pass but I think he had that shot. But yeah, I'm really liking this kid, he's a young less fluid Barbosa.
If Leandro moved like Water, this kid moves like a Landslide, so unpredictable.

Kind of like Acie Earl in that regard.

Yep, what we need is for the C's to do well enough in the playoffs with JET coming up big in a couple of games so that Danny can trade him over the summer and Danny's detractors can mope all year about his letting him go.

No, I don't feel the same way. Every time he has the ball I'm just hoping he doesn't screw up.
