Austin Rivers Out 4-6 Weeks With Broken Hand

he had 10 pts in 15 minutes, 5-6 FG and was +16 (highest +/- for any pelican player)... I think he can be a great player. Not everyone can be a player in the league, but when he shows flashes like today, I think its just a sign that he will eventually find his groove and be a deadly shooter.

A broken hand might actually help his shooting percentage at this point.

He is shooting at a god awful % this year in all aspects. Does have the potential to be a solid player in years to come. add a little more size. improve his free throws, he can get to the rim really well. After his rookie year, he will get a few more foul calls and if he can boost his FT to 70-80% which is really what he should shoot at, there is easy points for him.

Seems like you guys haven't been watching him play as of late, he's vastly improved as the year went on.

Even with those numbers (which are very flattering considering the rest of his season) he was still several picks too high. I know outside of the top 5 is a crapshoot in the NBA, but aussie's shooting form and free throw percentage do suggest he'll never be a very good shooter in the NBA. This is a problem for an undersized shootIng guard.
