  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

So many big rebounding games lately with Chandler, Noah, Lee, Horford, and now Kanter.

This guy has a bright future. The Jazz are stacked.

Bobcats apparently can't throw it in the ocean.  Wonder how many college teams could beat CHA?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Paul Milsap, Derrick Favors, Al Jefferson, and Enes Kanter.

The Jazz have amazing talent at PF and C.

Would love to grab just one of those guys for this team, doesn't even matter who.

I think it's safe to say the Jazz have no intention of moving Favors/Kanters, understandably. I believe Al is a FA after the year, not sure about Milsap though.

Big Al and Millsap are both free-agents after this season.

Utah really need to get rid of Big Al. He is holding back their two young bigs in Kanter and Favors. Both guys are ready for a lot more playing time than they are currently getting.

Roadblock to development.

I think they need to get rid of Millsap. Jefferson is an elite post scorer that can teach the two young bigs the tricks of the trade when it comes to scoring down low.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

It doesn't look like they have learned much from Big Al in the two years he has been there.

If I could see him having an impact as a teacher there, then yes, I'd keep Big Al ... but I don't see that so I am keeping the better defensive player and jump-shooter who will very likely be on a cheaper contract.

I don't really see where your getting the conclusion that they haven't...... It's not like Big Al is going to keep all his secrets to himself knowing that there are 2 elite potential prospects playing his position.

"He's been tremendous," his coach Ty Corbin says. "Great team guy. Good leader with this group of guys."

It's suggested that not all veterans would be so accommodating, especially with a couple of players who may wind up taking his job. Corbin agrees. "Great mentor for the young guys," Corbin says. "Especially with Enes and Derrick."

Jefferson loves to teach his young pups new tricks, like his patented pump fakes.

"I work with Big Turkey and Favors all the time on it," he says. "Yeeeahh. They athletic now, but one day you're legs are going to leave you so you got to bring out your little tricks. Why not have it now when you're athletic? Derrick Favors and Big Turkey do a great job with it, especially Turk. I could teach him a move tonight and he'll pick it up like that."

"I would never tell (Kanter) this, he does it better than me. He makes it look better than I do." Jefferson laughs --- heh-heh-heh. "I'm glad those guys are learning something from me."

Those are very interesting quotes and links.

I haven't been noticing them using Big Al's moves during games. That is why I felt he wasn't having a positive impact as a mentor.

Well, Big Al is leaving, as you guys know... sign and trade to the Celtics this summer.

CBA says, "No sign and trades."

Al is a good influence, if only he took a big pay-cut to be a mentor and come off the bench, Utah would kill everybody in three years. Favors-Kanter can be a top-3 frontcourt (next to Drummond/Monroe and Griffin/Jordan).

(if I were Al though, I would go for the $)
Jeff Green - Top 5 SF

[Kevin Garnett]
"I've always said J. Green is going to be one of the best players to ever play this game"
