In a move that will (or should) shock no one....

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA

Celtics will sign Terrence Williams for rest of season and conditionally for 2013-'14, league source tells Y! Sports.

I like it, he's a talent and we might as well take a shot with him as a longer term piece.

Conditionally?  What's the condition?

Does Woj mean non-guaranteed, or is there some sort of vesting option?

Awesome.  Congrats to Him.  Perhaps he showed something during the practices to give Danny the inclination to sign him.  At the least he can help with passing.  If we get the lottery/Louisville caliber T-Will, and crawford stops acting goofy then...wow! :o

I'd think non-guaranteed deal for next season -- 'we sign you to more time, you give us options.'

As for what he's showed on the court in his time here, I don't think it's really a big factor. The Cs knew what he can do as a basketball player, it's his attitude they wanted to vet during his 10 day....

Probably a good move - T-Will having NBA-caliber talent was never in doubt.  Worth a shot to try and develop him into a solid contributor.

This is exactly what I wanted to happen.  Sign for this year with team option for next year.  If it would only have been for this year, and he played great, some other team would likely have offered him just more than we could have payed, ala the Steamer.

All the better.  I'm really pleased with this signing.  The guy's got serious talent, and he's already been through some growing pains.  Time for the Celtics to reap the harvest.

I'm glad he took the deal.
It's not like he had other options on the table right now.

Well, after the first few games, he might have. But oh well :)

He's had one decent game with us and it was mostly in blowout mode. Not exactly a head-turner.
