fugly jumpshot, fugly player. KG is way better.
Lol, well obviously, I'd take KG over Noah 10 out of 10 times, and twice on tuesday.

But you can't deny this kids will to win, and his intensity, he may not have the star quality, but the dude is mad efficient, and gets things done in his own ugly way.
Is .457 from the field really that efficient for a center that doesn't really shoot jump shots?

Stats are Stats.
Watch the game.
By efficient, I mean, he doesn't try and do anything outside of his skill set.
He's gonna rebound and he's gonna get lay ups and dunks, and shoot those ugly ass jump shots when he's free.
That's his game. Nothing more nothing less.

Call me when Tyson Chandler gets a triple double.

To be fair Tyson did just get 28 boards the other day. Might not be a triple double but still an amazing performance.

I'm not trying to take away anything from Tyson Chandler, I'm just saying that Noah has a better all around game than Chandler.
Can't say that I disagree although did get a new degree of respect for Chandler from SI.com' piece on Anthony Davis...
"Tyson Chandler has become one of the league’s most genuinely helpful offensive players because of this ability. He scores just 12.4 points per game, but defenders are constantly concerned about the possibility that he might corral a lob and embarrass their back-line defense. As such, every step he takes is one that has to be defended. Every open avenue to the rim must be blocked off. Every moment in which he lingers around the rim must be attended to. Chandler makes opponents wary and weary, despite the fact that he likely has fewer touches than any other prominent member of the Knicks’ rotation."

He definitely helped me last night in the Celtics Blog Keeper League last night.

Holding a slight lead in Blocks and Rebounds for the week now.

I see a changed man.

When he had that greasy long pony tail he was an absolutely insufferable human being. But this Noah well...

He spent his off season working with Kareem which is brilliant.  It seems everyone and his grandma spend a week or two with Hakeem ever since he showed Kobe how to master the post. They may pick up a trick or two but for players like Dwight it seems like it's more of a pr stunt.

Noah has learned how to seal defenders off in a way that was absent from his early years. Kareem has shown him an offensive game to compliment his already stellar defense. Not to mention he recently gave props to KG instead of cussing him out like he used to.

I for one would love for Noah to take the reigns from KG and keep us a hit you in the mouth defensive juggernaught for years to come.

Actually, I see the same person.  I loved Noah then, and I still love him now.  I love his attitude.  I wish  he was a Celtic.

Yup, this. The Bulls will be crazy to let him go though.

Noah epitomizes the guy you "love" on your team and "hate" on the opponent's team. Would love to have him in Boston.

Definitely agree.

Think about if there was some way you could have paired him with KG the last few years.

1) They'd probably be best friends, as opposed to hating each other now.
2) Think about the defense and intensity they'd bring.
3) Think about how much people hate just Garnett, or hate just Noah.  Then combine them and multiply it by like 1,000.

I might have to jump into the next CB historical draft and attempt to do just that.  ;)

LOVED Noah when he was with the Gators. The guy is excellent. I hate him today but would absolutely love him if he played for the Celts... KoMe, I would still hate but have to cheer for. I dislike Noah for all the reasons I loved him as a Gator (plus his hate for KG)! I never doubt that this guy wants to win... he is much like KG, I respect that/him.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Rest assured that if Noah were on the Celtics there would be a bunch of people on this board picking over his every flaw and wanting to trade him.

Um I don't even know what to say to this.  Efficieny = not doing things outside of your skillset?  Jason Collins is efficient?

Tyson Chandler is actually the most efficient player in the league and has been for 3 years.  He's also a better defender than Noah despite not being a shotblocker.  As is Kevin Garnett, who was never really a shot blocker despite being one of the best defensive players of all time.  You're the one watching the stats instead of the game.

Triple doubles mean nothing.  There's absolutely no argument for Noah having a better all around game than Tyson Chandler.

Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels

Since when has joakim been a nobody? 2 time champ in college, 9th pick in the draft and has done nothing but steadily improve every year to the point he's an all star and defensive player of the year candidate?

Boohooo he's ugly!

I'd take him next to kg any day of the week...joakim is a better defender and rebounder at this point.

He's a .500 career shooter.

He's also been dealing with plantar fasciitis this season.
