I have been exteremly down on Brandon this season. Hoping that he can return to his form of last season and the playoffs. I was so happy with him last season. This year he has been making more bone headed plays then I would like to see. Although as of late he has picked it up. But here is to Brandon Bass improving and returning to this kind of form!

I hope Bass snaps out of whatever funk he's in.
If Bass plays like he did last season, we'd ruffle some feathers in the playoffs.

They should have put a rebounding incentive in his contract

Dang. That was just as much a tape of Rondo. Definitely made Bass & others better.

It would be huge if Bass could get back to last years form

Lol! actually i'm ok with his rebounding.. it's his weakness ever since.. the problem is he's known for his mid range right now.. he don't rebound and he don't shoot well too

Green has one, how's that working out?

I think Bass being in good form is very reliant on rondo being there and assisting him for his shot or dunks under the rim. Even that highlight video showed how much Rondo fed him easy buckets.

I wouldnt have high hopes of Bass contributing a whole lot more than he is now.

Bass is largely the same player he was last season except he's just missing more shots and turning the ball over a bit more.  He's rebounding and assisting at the same rate.

I don't understand how the pre-Boston version of Bass was a very efficient player with a fantastic spread between his Offensive and Defensive ratings.  Did he roll more to the basket?  I certainly don't remember him shooting a bunch of mid-range jumpers with Dallas.  If he's a capable roll man, I don't understand why they don't have him to do that more instead of just shooting jumpers after jumpers.  Since he rarely gets to the free throw line or shoot threes, it's nearly impossible for him to be an efficient scorer unless he hits the best percentage from the mid-range area in the league.

In theory that makes sense, but how was Bass producing back when Rondo was still with us earlier this season?

Hmm...

Brandon "Best Bet" Bass

I hope he turns it up a notch.
He plays hard every night.
But he has to play smart.
And get those rebounds!

We should sign him to one year contracts that way every year is a contract year for him.

Dat Bass.

Step it up.  Losing Rondo does hurt him big time, which is what p---ed me off about him seeming to complain about Rondo on offense after he left.  Rondo got you that contract.

None of this team was playing consistently well early this year. Rondo included.

The only time bass has ever been any good in Boston was when he was getting several elbow jumpers from the horns play. These jumpers were mostly provided by rondo.

I hope we get that in DJ White. Im not saying he is better then Bass but Bass got what I call Walkernitus. For some reason when our PF in Boston learn to shoot outside they stop working hard downlow. Walker, Blount, Gomez, Big Baby, and Bass. Verdict still out on Sully. DJ White has a lot to prove to stay in NBA, and I think (hope) he works his but off downlow because of that.

I know this is wishful thinking but I can careless about that jumper if you are busting your but in the paint for rebounds/extra possesions.
