There is a talk in the NBA that Sixers head coach, Doug Collins is to be replaced by Michael Curry. Collins feels dissatisfied with the performance of the team recently.

They should keep Collins and fire the GM. That team is very poorly put together.

It's possible, but I'm sure he'll land another job (?)

Ignorant, as he's one of the best coaches in the game and out coached doc rivers in the playoffs last year...we possibly lose the series on our home court if it wasn't for....Rondo 3s...yep rondo 3s.

That and the leading candidate is Michael curry? Lol. One of the worst coaches I've seen in the last 10 years when he got a shot as hc of the pistons.

Maybe he's stepping down because I can't believe they'd be that dumb.

I think it's unfair to say he hasn't done a good job. He hasn't been playing with a full hand this whole season. And the expectations were thru the roof after being so close to the ECF last year. They let Brand, Lou Williams, and most importantly Iggy go. Holiday has stepped up this year, but any team would be hard pressed for wins if they lost 3 of there top 6 players without adequate replacements.

If they were playing this poorly with Bynum in the lineup then it would be fair to say Doug Collins is not doing a good job. But without Bynum in the lineup, Doug Collins is one of the hardest pressed coaches in the NBA.

I think part of the problem is that he has a lot of GM type power/say, and he sucks at that.

I don't know about that. He has a reputation of going full steam all the time and burning himself and his players out on him. That and he can never keep a job even if people think he's so great.

This.  Doc is at his best with a smart and driven righthand-man type on his staff.
