  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
No idea what Philly is doing.

Seems like making trades just for the sake of making trades.

There is a plan and if i remember correctly we are not even close to the end.

It must be pretty subtle because nobody sees it but you.

I guess i'd be mad also if Randolph was by far my best player

Why do you insist on making all your responses to me as insults?

Come on now guys, this is supposed to be fun.

Sure, if you make a bad move, you'll get put on blast for it, but there's no malice meant.  Just real talk.

True. It's what you signed up for when you decided to play. Other GMs will criticize you on every bad move you make. Just gotta learn to get use to it. I've been doing this since the very first CB draft back in 2007, kinda got use to it.

I'd go even further to say it's good. It's taught me a lot about the value of players around the NBA. Before this, I didn't know too much about some of these players.

Definitely. Criticism is good. Lets you know what you need to improve on.

Criticism (constructive) is always good.

But by the time it reaches blatant insults and attacks both through the public forums and the private messaging system, simply because I refused a deal he offered that I didn't think would suit my team... that's just excessive and it's really getting to me.

I know that ZBo is my best player, I don't need you to critique every move I make just because you don't agree with it, because it's my franchise. Not yours. Sorry, and stop.

This is too funny you make silly trade requests that ticks people off

And you do it on purpose to annoy me

Guys, this thread is going to get locked soon.

Let's change the subject to how much my team sucks.  No, seriously.  Look at my sig.

How man hames would that team win?  I say 17 at most.

If the bickering continues, there will be (potentially permanent) bans from CelticsBlog drafts.  This is meant for fun.

Gets offered trade, accepts, sends to commish, original sender then admits they messed up

The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

In fairness, that was a pretty crazy that nobody in their right mind should have agreed to.

Guys knock it off NOW!!

Its not worth it.

Everyone gets criticized here. Everyone makes bad moves. Everyone has a player someone in this exercise doesn't like and will say bad things about. It happens.

And...if I know Roy and the mods, start trouble in the Pick 2 draft and I can guarantee you won't be playing these drafts any more.

Now shake hands and make up.

NEVERMIND. I SEE THE BIG GUY ALREADY IS INVOLVED

There's a Celticsblog draft every summer where each GM starts from scratch. And then there's a pick 2 draft every January-February. There's also a historical draft. So about 3 a year. I enjoy the Celticsblog draft in the summer the most.

We do the "CB Draft" in the summer.  That's the big, fairly competitive one.  There is voting involved, and a "winner" is ultimately crowned.

Then, there's the Pick 2 draft, usually taking place around the all-star break.

Third, we usually have some sort of "historic" draft, featuring players from the NBA's past.

Last, we have several other "silly" drafts, including the "Ultimate Draft" (draft anybody to fit certain categories, like U.S. President, artist, fictional character, etc.), the "Pub" draft (outfit a pub with various features), etc.

Is it possible that in this exercise a certain power forward who was involved in a televised "Fairy Tale Wedding' could go undrafted?

Nah somebody'll grab him - lots of teams with low salary #s right now.

On the other hand, I'll be absolutely shocked if anyone takes a certain Michael Jordan of Turkey.
