I didn't read this whole thread, but I think the clear answer is no. He's been an effective player for a while, but I think there are several players who qualified as top 5 players in the NBA in recent decades that are ahead of him . .. and won't get in.
Names like Tracy McGrady, Rasheed Wallace, Jermaine O'Neal. These guys were super-duper stars for multiple years and I think they'll have a tough time getting in. Maybe they do . . .I don't really know. But I would put all 3 ahead of Jason Terry, who has been a 'nice' player for a while, but never came close to superstar status like the three above.
I think Terry would be tied w/ someone like Marbury (at best), given that he'll surpass Marbury on points etc but only because he played longer in the NBA. Marbury was a much bigger star for many years at his apex.
