Has anyone considered praying to St Anthony? Because Doc's ability to coach and the player's bball IQ is missing

Name me the last time a team won a title because of their dominant PG play? Yeah, Rondo was great in 08, but that was because he was the role player PG in that offense and played MUCH better defense.Statistically our three biggest "positive" players are KG (on defense), Pierce (on offense) and Terry (on both). Rondo is a pure PG and a playmaker, he is capable of making the guys around him better but he still needs talent around him to be at his best. He's not the type of player that can dominate games and put the team on his back every night. He can do it occasioanlly, but not all the time. He's just not offensively talented enough. This is why I'm not as hessitant to trade Rondo as I once was. I love Rondo because he plays with hurt and he plays with a chip on his shoulder, but the second Pierce and KG are gone this team goes straight to lottery if Rondo is the guy we depend on to win us games. Bradley can possibly replace KG as the teams defensive leader (he's that good) but we need an offensive leader to take over for Pierce and that to me is where Cousins comes in. I feel DMC has the potential to be an elite offensive player in a couple of years once he develops his skill set, and I dont think any of the other guys we are talking about (Jefferson, Gortat, Milsap, Okafor, Nene) have the potential to be a go-to guy on offense. On another note - who wanted to trade Terry again?Exactly. Rondo would be great as the PG if this team had the pieces it needed. I think Romdo is the only player with value that could net the team the pieces it needs. A team does not need a all time great PG to compete, it needs a good thinking PG who can run the floor, run the offense and stay on his man on the perimter on defense. It also needs a dominant big man and a great wing scorer. Pierce can still be your wing scorer, but you need the big man. Rondo can probably get you that in a trade. You just need to find a decent PG with that.

Cousins line tonight: 18 pts, 16 rebs (7 off) and 6 assts. Yeah, we could use that - should have pawned off Avery before Sacto saw tonight's game film.

You can't have it both ways. If everything is Doc's fault (like you say in every post you ever make), then he was responsible for the comeback. So tired of the blame doc for everything.
