I'm glad KG is being saved for the playoffs.  Of course the playoffs aren't even guaranteed or they're going to be a very low seed.

Why does Doc devalue the regular season so much?  He's like an imposter Popovich.

Saving him will last 2 rounds tops. Garnett is usually done by the end of 2nd round. If only we can rewind time, Celtics would have won multiple championships younger version of big3

Really, I can't believe Doc hasn't done that yet.

Where is the ball movement? Another momentum killer subs by Doc.

Some years Pop goes all out during the season, some years he coasts. He hasn't found an overly successful formula yet.

Well, you saw the score between the Raptors and Cavs... Cavs got blown out by 14 at home.  Definitely need to pick up the win tomorrow if we don't take the win tonight.

I would love to know how many minutes Jeff Green and Paul Pierce have played alongside one another on the wing.

I looked up Pierce's top twenty lineups (lineups with ten minutes or more) and none of them had the two out there together on the wing. Plenty of small-ball lineups where they played alongside one big man but none alongside two big men.

Just did the same for Jeff Green. None in his top twenty either (lineups with 7 minutes or more).

The thing about resting KG so much is, why not do it with everyone else then.  This team does not have a great shot of winning unless KG plays a lot, one because he's still a great player and two because his backups are very low IQ players.  He's basically using up the others to no end.  Just rest them all then if that's more important.

regardless of the outcome, I hope this version of Rajon Rondo is here to stay. Rondo is capable off being 20/10 player.

I can remember twice with the SG/sf lineup. Seemed pretty efficient too.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
