So if you call this one a choke job, Brooklyn also choked against Miami after having something like a 15 point lead in the second quarter. This doesn't make any sense. It was a back to back on the road against a younger team.

It is not a chokejob.  Giving up 36 points in the 2nd quarter has nothing to do with "choking."

It has everything to with the fact that, for whatever reason, this team no longer can play defense.

it's almost like they were playing without their star point guard who averages 13 assists a night.

It's like playing without a Coach!!!

pathetic. 17 point lead blown. :(

we get in a bind and everyone gives up trying to score in the paint. no more dribble drives or dishes, no more posting up. We need another guy who can post up and score down low. I did like the fact KG was not just doing turnaround jumpers in the paint but he was driving to the rim. Green seemed to play well also along with JET. .500 ballclub. Dr Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde.

Dude that lead was in the first quarter before the other team scored. Basketball does that sometimes.

We have rondo and we win that game. Simple as that.

Yeah right....

That may have been a great argument if they didn't do it just fine most of the time. Also, the fact you're missing a guy that racks up a lot of assists doesn't mean you should have problems moving the ball. In fact, Rondo dominates the ball a lot, which doesn't necessarily mean there's a lot of ball movement.

Rondo or not, officials or not...  A team shouldn't blow that big of a lead, especially that quickly.  They gave up, what, 36 points in the 2nd quarter?  That should never happen on a team as defensively talented as the Celtics.

We have Rondo, we're probably not having a 17 pt first-quarter lead. We have Rondo, Green, Lee and Terry may have had 20 points... combined. Rondo better learns how to work with the new guys, or we're going nowhere fast.

We have Rondo and we score more points. I don't see how worrying about who scores those points is valuable. If you think we'll go farther with less scoring because Green and Lee get more points you're mistaken.

we got out to an early lead and had a great 1st qtr.  but in the nba, teams make runs and can get back into a game quick, even more so if it is the home team making the run.

i wouldn't classify this game as choking, but i would say it was a winnable game that we let slip away.

i think our downfall in this game was inconsistency and lack of defense.  we got away from what got us that nice lead in the first qtr.

Oh...I saw it comming... as SOON AS KG TOOK A SEAT after we blew them out.... and Collins came in ...the on slaught begain.  I knew they would get movitated and start as run soon as KG hits the bench. When KG sits the Celtics just colapse and wilt away.
Doc should have left KG in till the lead was absoluety out of reach.

I didn't watch after KG sat , because at that point I knew the Bucks would then make a run and that would give them the confidence to take the game at the end .  ::)
