I agree, I am now convinced that the nets are for real.  I am more worried about the Nets in the playoffs than the Knicks.  We don't have the size to match up with them.  They have a good set of bigs.

They are just better than us right now.  It is a long season and time to right the ship, but we are looking at 8-7 while being the 4th best team in our division.  Not how I saw us starting the season.

No one has guarded stackhouse tonight. Not once. Just horrendous.

PP has a terrible habit of getting caught in no man's land and leaving corner shooters open.

If Andray Blatche & Jerry Stackhouse is combining for 34 points, that defense is bad.

I just got tickets to the Nets game in April for my birthday.  in the past 2 years I'd dread that because the C's had developed a tendency to sleepwalk at home against bad teams.  I'm wondering if by that time of the season these guys will finally take the Nets seriously and come out ready to play (unlike tonight's game)

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Spirited effort in the second half, but just not enough.

By game 15, this team should be getting better. It isn't.

I thought they played better defense tonight other than the first quarter. unfortunately the offense went right out the window

He took a shot at KGs head while he was in the air.  That's a flagrant.

Clearly you haven't read the NBA official rule book.

Page 257, Paragraph 3 and 4:

"If a player is fouled with uneccessary force or in a way which is considered dangerous, the foul will be called a flagrant, except when the player who is fouled is a member of the Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics players do not qualify for flagrant fouls.  If a Boston Celtics player is fouled in a way which is deemed flagrant, he will be charged with a technical foul or ejected, subject to the mood of the official at the time of the call.
"
