I don't understand why Doc is not playing Darko today, and is playing Collins instead. Is Darko still injured?

Darko must be really terrible in practice if he can't sniff the floor in this game.

  • You say when......
when it comes to the C's rebounding..it is NOT the players..it is the coach's philosophey....he has always said....i just want them back on D...and he HAS benched many a rebounder in the years i have been watching him....which is every year.....

That has nothing to do with defensive rebounding.

thank you for pointing that out...!

We know we're not going to get many offensive rebounds in a game.  But there is no excuse for giving up so many potential defensive rebounds....simply poor blocking out, and lack of hustle.   That's the difference in the game right now....the rest looks fairly good, especially considering no RR.

But what happens when you are already back on D. When the ball comes off the rim, do we get back on O? ::)

you should coach doc....! Doc..!

Doc just needs to do a better effort of putting units that can rebound in the game.

That said, KG did a poor job and Sully did a poor job... the two guys who are our main rebounders.

Anyone else starting to think the whole new nets team i just part of the NBAs marketing plan to create another Miami Heat? I dont mean as a dominating super team I mean as a team that plays in black, has very unlikable and dirty players, and gets ridiculous calls from officials.

should not have to rely on rondo for defensive rebounds. The bigs should be doing this.
I don't think that Doc likes getting outrebounded under our own basket.

This is one of the reasons we miss Rondo tonight. He could get a triple double in a game like this.

Yeah, but it helps a lot, when the other team takes a lot of jump shots, if at least one of the quicker players is looking for the rebound.

I have to agree with this.  Collins doesn't give us much out there.  Darko must be really edging to Doc's doghouse with some really bad practices, otherwise, why isn't he in there?
He is our biggest center.  Get him in there, clear some def boards and clog the lane...

If he can't do that, they why do we have darko on our team?

Darko must be really terrible in practice if he can't sniff the floor in this game.
