Appearing Thursday on Boston sports radio WEEI, Rivers noted that Wade has "given a lot of hard fouls" in his career and pointed out that Rondo's gruesome elbow injury during the 2011 playoffs was "created by Dwyane Wade."

Added Rivers: "I don't think [Rondo's flagrant] was a 'punk' move unless [Wade's foul] was, too."

Quote
“I don’t think it was a hard foul,” said Rondo. "He sold it a little bit, and that’s basketball. They were up, he drove to the hole and I didn’t want to give up a layup. Simple as that. I didn’t yank him down or dirty plays that you’ve seen him play in the past, so that’s what it is.”

Simply telling the truth while being classier than Wade.

Wade never likes ANYBODY in his space,  I 've seen it since he came in the league, he has a bad temper .  If anybody fouls him , he is ready to fight. Perk never cared if he fouled Wade hard. ( I LOVED IT)

Bradley is probally the FIRST person to shut down Wade and NOT ruff him up at all. He bothered Wade , but never touched him.... Wade was impressed.

ROndo owes Wade a dislocated elbow payback in my mind.

I don't like that talk. I like what Rondo do in the 4th preventing a lay up from Wade. I also wish Wade would have thrown the ball at him. I like that salty style of play personally. I watched the replay and Rondo may have gone too far in preventing the lay up but let me say 100% I prefer too far to not far enough. No and-ones for the Heat. Period.

Furthermore I agree with Doc. I like that fire in Rondo. What worries me is when I don't see it. Some comments lately about Jeff Green lacking that intensity have concerned me. Someone needs to get in his head and make him play more aggressive like Rondo.

Wade goes under Perk as he's dunking the ball. Then stares at him as he's walking away, like Perk would give a %^&*.

Rondo talks about Wade's dirty play.  Kind of funny.

Turnabout is fair play.

Not even close to being even.

If Wade dislocated some body part (preferably his neck and his tongue) that critically iimpacted his team's playoff survival.....maybe.

Nah,not even then.  ;)

DARKO.

Rondo should let Wade pass him and meet Darko. I guarantee Wade will not stare down Darko.

I was reading the ESPN comment section (should stop doing so on anything remotely related to the Heat because it's just brain neutral from those fans) and someone pointed out the Wade undercut on Green when Green was going up for the slam.

Anyone else see that play? I thought it was kind of scary for Green and very dirty on Wade's part but it kind of slid under the radar.

He's getting wayyy better with the press. He's not a clown, still super dry, but funnier, letting them in a little bit. Good interview

He's getting' there.  He'll never be their darling.  And, they'll always be a nuisance to him, you can see that.

But, yeah, he's getting better.  I'm thinking maybe that's one of the reasons that he traveled around the world this past summer: to get exposed to different stuff, to learn how to handle new situations, to grow up a little.
