No surprise here with all of their PFs. There is no room for him on our team at the moment either.

Ok I checked we gave up three guys who were dropped by Houston, Sasha and some picks to get lee.  Jjj and Williams aren't showing nba level, Moore probably will give good minutes to Orlando and Sasha is a good guy to have as a third stringer.
Pretty lopsided trade, no?

The thing is, Lee was a FA and wanted to sign here anyway, we just couldn't make the money work without a trade. Whatever Houston got back was a bonus for them because Lee was leaving anyway, if not to boston then to somewhere else.

Houston also got a Bobcats 2nd rounder which was part of the Harden trade.

No one's going to bite and say we should try to bring him back?

Me neither. Surprised, though. Where do you think he'd be a good fit? Looking for up-tempo teams with 2nd round forwards at the end of their bench... Knicks, Raptors, Suns? Nuggets? Wizards?

The guy should go to the D-League and try to develop a 3pt shot.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Wish him the best.  Hopefully he can use what he learned from KG to get on a team... somewhere.
