Does anyone feel that the parquet floor is not very good looking? It's somewhat distracting to me. I like the simple design of the Celtics jersey, but I also notice that it actually looks better on other courts. Am I the only one to feel this way?   ???

I don't think it looks bad, but I love the history it represents so I wouldn't want them to change it.  If they had no history, I'd probably wouldn't be opposed to them trying something different.  One thing I hate though, the yellow "Garden" on the baseline always looked tacky to me.

I personally like the floors with the different colors for inside and outside the 3 point line.  Like the Twolves and Rockets(dark outside/light inside):

But don't like the Cavs opposite look (light outside/dark inside):

Actually looking at Brooklyns, the parquet style gives it an established look. So I guess I kind of like the parquet style.

Just don't be a clown like Charlotte and takes things way too far:

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Yeah, I know its history. However, is it necessary to keep it forever?

Setting aside the history, I really like the look of the parquet - it's distinctive and has a classier feel to it.  The two-tone courts (or worse) always look tacky to me.

Bring back the black shoes and white laces. I love our history.

Yes...   untill it wears out ..then we'll buy another one just like it..

you have to be kidding me - if the court and the uniforms aren't ingrained into your very being I question how long you've been a C's fan.....

The parquet is an integral part of Celtics history.  We've lost the Gahden, but we still have the floor.

There are only three certainties in life... death, taxes and the Cs playing on a parquet floor.
