Maybe the most interesting pre-season in Celts history.  So much seems to be working above and beyond all belief.

Hope they continue to grow and stay healthy.  PP & KG can be role players on this team and give us bursts of awesomeness rather than having to carry the load.

This could be a "changing of the guard" season from one great nucleus to the potential of the next generation.  I'm really glad KG re-signed to do these last 2 years for this very reason.

The future isn't nearly as bleak as it once seemed.
Yup

Very giddy , but very concerned with the Darko and Wilcox injuries. Wrist injuries usually just get worse without proper rest and Wilcox still recovering from heat surgery. We need a more reliable backup Center than Collins IMO . Still wish we could sign Chris Andersen ( if he is innocent on the legal problems) he would provide good shot blocking when KG is out and can also run the floor and finish.

Absolutely can't wait for opening night - you know Miami and Boston are both going to bring it.

I expect a playoff atmosphere in that game

Yup, I'd rather see us cut Wilcox and sign the birdman.

If you're not giddy, you haven't been watching :) But still it's all pretty theoretical at the moment.  I'd love to see a them show this kind of team first, defense oriented ball with our starters, and with Darko back in the fold.  At that point, I will gladly loose all sense of partiality and perspective!  ;D

Very excited. Just hoping the injury gods are kind to us this season.

The depth  of talent is just crazy good. I feel like once we get everybody in sync we can run most of the NBA out of the gym while going 11-12 deep on some nights.  ;D

On a serious note, we may need the depth if a couple guys get banged up.

Giddy with great reason.  I am hoping that a loss on opening night will not dampen anyone's giddiness.  The C's could win in Miami but I think the they are a long way from knowing how to play together. Established teams will probably give them a hard time in the beginning of the year.

More than ever, I think Jeff's 20-game rule is important to consider.  We have very good and numerous parts and if the Team becomes more than the sum of these parts, they'll be scary good.
