  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Grantland has a series of youtubes where Jalen Rose tells stories. Hazing by deke mutumbo, guarding Kobe during his 81 pts game, how athletes go broke.

My favorite line,

They booted the smartest guy on the set, Jon Barry.

Good Riddance on Broussard though.

Agreed and agreed.

I really liked Barry. Broussard can go fly a kite and I wish the network woulda sent magic along with him. I would live to see Barry still on set but that would be too many white guys talking about basketball.

This is great news, I like Simmons. I don't even care if he's wrong half the time, he's entertaining.

Barkley.

Both Simmons for Broussard and Rose for Barry seem like lateral moves to me.

I got tired of Simmons maybe two years ago.  His pop culture jokes don't transfer well to TV.  I wish they had Weber.

Weber and Payton alongside Wilbon and Barry would have been money to me.

Jalen Rose is brilliant. Not only does he get the game, but his insights into what happens behind the scenes in the locker room are priceless. I'm surprised they haven't teamed him up with Webber, they're both funny guys and would have great chemistry going way back to Michigan.

As for Bill Simmons, I enjoy reading his articles, but I don't think he belongs on the tube.

Listen to the latest B.S. Report and maybe you'll see why the Weber team might not be in the cards.

Personally I can't stand Jon Barry. He always kisses up to the superstars and never criticizes them, and tries to play buddy-buddy. But then he has no problem being "Mr. I say what I feel" to average/scrub players no one cares about

Does Jalen know that's 5 words?
