With our roster now set, PREDICT OUR SEASON RECORD!

I know it's just a preseason game, but with players actually trying and hustling on defense, we look pretty darn good right now against the Nets. Rondo is aggressive, Green is stellar, Pierce is in phenomenal physical condition, Lee can run and Sullinger just bullies down people in the paint. Honestly, I think almost our whole roster could be starters on other teams. And to think this is all without Darko, Barbosa, and Bradley playing...it's almost scary what damage we could do with all of our guys healthy. Now, with that being said, let's predict our season record for the upcoming season. Here's my prediction: 60-22.

One more thing: GM of the year: Danny Ainge!  ;D If Ainge was on the Lakers, he could probably build an Olympic roster, haha.

52-30. They'll coast a bit in the regular season.

Give Kupchak his repsect. He's a good GM.

But anyway, I predict a modest 56-26. I think this team is going to be really good, but I think we're going to focus the whole season on developing chemistry with each other. Plus, there's bound to be some injuries considering how many guys have gotten hurt.

Then we start our dominant run in the playoffs.

57 wins...personally I think the loss of Ray gets rid of some of the coasting and laziness and gives us some more competitive guys

  • GOT IT!!!
63 wins

That should be good enough to get the top seed. I'm thinking 55-60.

C's are going to run a lot of teams off the floor though.

Eja Agree with you one thousand percent. You hit the nail right on the head. For all the Diehard Ray Allen lovers here, When you add Courtney Lee, and Jason Terry, and Barbosa as well as a healthy Avery Bradley, and unleash these knew, hungry, young, competitive animals. That's a recipe for success.

 Win Total 61!!!

I'll cheat and give two guesses. If we stay relatively healthy 61 wins. If we have injury problems 50.

Still feels weird saying the Celtics are going to run teams off the floor given the style they've played with for the past 5 years. I won't mind getting used to it though  8)

This team could win 60 games, but the number will depend on whether doc lets guys like kg rest due to depth... still, this is a better built and deeper team in my opinion than the 2010-11 62 win bulls

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
56 wins, good for 2nd seed, with 2 other teams breaching 50 wins.

I don't feel comfortable with KGs health concerns, a likely further Pierce decline, and all the new roster integrations.

Ideally Doc doesn't let KG or Pierce eclipse 28 mpg.
