Holy cow - this would be great if true.  Best of a weak guard crop that's still out there.  Not a great playmaker, but more scoring off the bench.

In an ideal world, I would have preferred more size, and a more "pure" point guard.  Barbosa duplicates a lot of what Terry does.  That said, Barbosa was a lot better than most of the names thrown out there, and I'm very happy with the signing.  I figured he'd get more money than we had available.

Are you kidding?  If true this is a very servicable replacement for Dooling.  This is not going to make or break our season but it would provide some much needed insurance until Bradley is back and up to speed.

This is pretty awesome.  As Roy mentioned, hes not the true point guard type many had thought we needed but he is definitely more talented than all the names I had been hearing.  Great get by Danny. 

This has got to be the most talented roster top to bottom doc has ever coached.  Will be fun to watch him piece it together

Never considered him a point guard , but I seen him shoot pretty good before on bad teams.
I guess its better safe than sorry....

i'd agree better quality PLAYER than anyone out there, maybe not a true point guard but he is going to be 3rd pg, maybe 4th with bradley back

Didn't Indiana and their entire fanbase end up hating this guy? Called him a selfish chucker who killed their offense and ruined their chemistry, from what I remember.

For whatever reason, I've always confused Leandro Barbosa and Mickael Pietrus, even though they don't have many similarities.

But to me I see foreign black players, with foreign names that I can pronounce (as opposed to say Jasikevičius), that both came into the league in '03-'04, both have 7 letters in their first and last names, both careers have been primarily off the bench, both played for Phoenix, now both will play for the Celtics, and to top it all off I bet Barbosa takes #28 with the Celtics since that's the number he wore last year with the Pacers.

Yup now this will help me keep them straight in my mind.
