I read that Rudy Gay has been having a great training camp / preseason.

I wonder if this is the year that he surpasses Paul Pierce and Carmelo Anthony to become the third best small forward in the league behind LeBron and Durant. Certainly has the talent to do so. Excited to see how Gay has developed this summer. I think the playoffs last year could be a big lesson for him.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
E'twaun and Andrew Nicholson playing very well for Orlando.

Looking forward to seeing Dwight's debut tonight.  Should be interesting to watch how Kobe, Nash, Pau, and Dwight gel.

Lakers are great long as the starting five are in there and its Kobe with unlimited energy again.

At some point there are gonna be health issues .  The bench are gonna go to sleep ..they look disinterested to me.

Cousins can give Howard fits , if he only had proper coaching and leadership to guide his game  .  He is gonna waste away on the Kings.

It looks like the same ol Kobe show again..... and again

lakers are going to be dominant this year.  Too much talent.  We can sit here and grasp at straws all we want, but it's a Lakers/Heat Finals barring serious injury.

Excited to see our role players in Boston, but the situation in LA has made for a depressing offseason.

Honestly given Carmelo's still young its a waste that Gay could surpass him. He has even more talent.

If Gay does make a leap that could save the Grizzlies from having to consider blowing up their current roster.

might have pushed off of dwight a little there, but robinson got his head up to the rim =)

If he keeps adding muscle, you might be looking at the next center in the Dwight Howard mold. He's got the athleticism, the motor, and the nose for rebounds.

I honestly see them as a team that's gonna fall apart

1. Nash is still the worst defensive point guard in the league, and him getting older doesn't help that

2. Kobe and Dwight's personalities don't mesh

3. Kobe's on the decline

They might get to the Western Conference Finals just based off of their talent, but no way they're going to the Finals

Dang. I was about to disagree with you before I realized that you are saying they can fall apart and still finish in the top 4 ahead of Denver, San Antonio, Memphis, MInnesota, LA, etc etc. I guess I agree... but doesn't that just go to show how ridiculous stacked they are? I mean, let's imagine that Kobe breaks his neck and Nash plays the worst defense of his career... Howard, Nash, and Gasol are still a contender.

By the way, who on earth is going to get a rebound against the Kings when Thomas Robinson and Demarcus Cousins are in the game?
