Other than the Celtics I've checked out a few games.

ATL vs MIAMI was whatever no one really distinguished themselves.

ORL vs NO to check on Austin. It'll take him a while to learn point if ever. Again mostly random players our old friend Moore got blocked/fouled by Davis. I can tell you this ORL is looking ugly.

HOU vs OKC I only caught the beginning because it was legit boring. The first quarter was Westbrook just jacking up shots, making a good amount but he clearly wasn't trying to involve other players or develop chemistry. I'm mad because I missed the T.Jones show scoring 20 on 8-14. Lin caught up with Asik for some lobs but again too early to tell.

I will say this I will try to watch Houston and Minnesota this year for pure entertainment. Last year it was Portland before the trade and Denver's yellow jerseys are just too much.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
DeMarcus Cousins is shooting threes!!!!! He was 1/3 from downtown. He finished with 20+ points and 9+ rebounds and 10/13 from the line(last I checked). The guy is going to be a stud. Top 3 center in the league this season, I predict.

Terrence Jones is a stud as well - finished with 20 points. Very sound pick.

Spurs are looking deep, as always. Horford is getting back there.

Andre Drummond has so much potential. He had one monster block (not the smartest play, but it boasted his athleticism), and was solid all around. 12 points, 7 rebounds, 6/8 shooting, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

NASTY!

Speaking of the Pistons, Greg Monroe is doing work. 19 points and 10 rebounds.

DeMar DeRozan is so undervalued in fantasy leagues - He puts up points consistently (17 tonight).

Lastly, the Blazers did work against the Lakers, which is something I always love seeing. I see many flaws with LA, which is good. Lillard looks great.
I like Marcus Smart

I don't know why you're salivating about Cousins for this game, when he want 5-15 for the night. That's not top 3 efficiency from your center.

i watched the whole rockets game and terrence jones was awesome.

Jones looks like hes going to play like a younger, smarter, stronger Josh Smith.

I am fully expecting a big year from Kirk Hinrich.  I'm very happy for him that he gets to go back to Chicago.  He was beyond solid off the bench in the playoffs last year, exactly the type of experienced vet the Bulls need.

And with Rose on the bench I'm sure he's gonna love his minutes, especially seeing as Nate is his only competition and they have a coach that bases the rotation on defense.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Cousins has been extremely inconsistent shooting the ball last season. Also, he had horrible shooting efficiency for a center.

Moreover, he used to be a great passer and I've got no idea what happened to this aspect of his game.

All in all, way too volatile right now to be a dependable franchise guy.

I agree how sweet would it be if we had him backing up Rajon

Austin Rivers vs the Rockets right now. Not horrible.

Has anybody caught JUDAS how he look??

Saw the highlights of his first game. He did create off the dribble quite a bit and have a bigger role but looks a bit like organized chaos to me (might be seeing what I want). He had to fade away out of a post up one of the plays, which I suppose is what he wanted all along.

This is just me but I'm starting to think at least as of the minute Austin is a selfish volume scorer. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I'd compare him to Kobe in a manner of speaking, but I don't think he's really a pg. I think that's partly because his father was an all-star pg. I'm not sure Austin can handle the situation they're putting him in. I think he could sorta pull an Eli Manning and just demand to go somewhere else.

Looked okay to begin with but was just not there :\

You're right eja. He's no PG yet. I don't think he's even an NBA scorer yet. Has the poise but not the knowledge of NBA ball it seems to me.

Kyle Lowry doing work on Raymond Felton in last night's game, lol.

I think TOR's going to sleep on some teams..hope BOS is not one of them.

Lowry's going to have a very good season down there if he stays healthy.
