Well, he's kind of right. They could be better.

But so did we. So did the Lakers.

Who got how much better will all be answered soon enough.

Yeah, how DARE Lebron have faith in his team! I mean, WHO DOES THAT?!

This is bottom of the barrel hate on Lebron and the Heat. No disrespect I hate them as much as everyone else does, but this is overdoing it. He was just talking about the potential his team has (why shouldn't he, THEY WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP) and he wasn't taking a shot at any team or even saying they were repeating as champs.

There's a clear difference between saying "We WILL be better" and "We CAN be better".

Didn't Pierce say that the Celtics were going to be 'scary' good today?

I think there is a subtle distinction between what Pierce said and what King James said.

James said that it's scary that they could be better this year than last, implying that last year's cHeat was soo good that he didn't think that the team could possibly be better. This is the same cHeat that faced a game 6 elimination game in the ECF against an undermanned, beat up Celtics team.

Pierce's talk about the team being scary good is different in that he is commenting on a team that has tremendous depth compared to last year, much more athleticism and youth.

Pierce knew his team needed to get better; LeBroid, not so much.

Being the loyal Celtics fan I am... I can never hate enough on D Thug and the Heat.  Run by the MAD HATTER himself PAT O' , now joined by none other than Benedict Allen .  O lets not forget the GRAND WIZARD ... Howard Stern  ;)

Let the disrespect flow all over them like a cool mountain stream...

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
When a team wins the chip with 2 of thier 3 biggest weapons hobbled, and have the chance to not only get healthy, bring back the most important pieces of a champion, and add even more talent, it is a bit scary to the rest of the league. At least worrying.

It is kinda scary. They are the defending champs and adding those two guys do make them significantly better. What makes lebron such a d bag for telling the truth and being confident in his team? He has every right to do so, last year they proved they were the best.

New year new season. Lets take them down.

If I'm a Heat fan I would be worried about Wade's knee. Early word is that he might miss the season opener because of it. A 30 year old ,athletically reliant player, coming off knee surgery and still apparently having issues with it is definitely a concern.

If the C's don't get to the Finals, I want Miami to be healthy and terribly scary.  They are the only team other than the C's that I think can beat LA.  Each year that the Heat win the title is a year the Lakers don't.

Best year = C's win championship. Next best year = Lakers don't.  Miami Heat and their 2 championships are insignificant in the big picture.  I have no hate for them nor any concern about bravado from their best player.

WOW! Im shaking in my little space boots!

The cHeat have 3 guys coming of injuries and they added two guys born in the 70s one of them is also coming of an injury and the other one shot 38% from the field and 24% from 3 last season.

Im so scared!

This team is still very beatable and has alot of weaknesses.

Lebron is just being an overconfident Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., let him be that if he wants and he will see what happens in the playoffs.

Btw, he better hope wade is 100% come playoffs or they are really in trouble.

The biggest improvement for Miami is that their head coach has finally figured out the best lineup and style of play for his team to deploy.

That was the single biggest issue facing their team.
