Geno Smith with a legendary game today for West Virginia in its first ever Big 12 game.  WVU beat Baylor 70-63.  At one point in the game Smith completed 26 of 27 passes.  Baylor's QB Florence had a paltry 581 yards and just 5 TD's and did throw an INT.

All told the teams combined for 1507 yards and 19 TD's with just the 1 turnover.  There were two 300 yard receiving games, one 200 receiving yard game, and three other receivers with over 100.

Watched this game - it was a ton of fun despite (or maybe because of) the 0 defense.

I used to think Madden game stats were silly and unrealistic... until I watched some college football.

It's crazy.

I like to watch me some college football, especially early in the year. But the high-scoring blowouts tend to detract from the drama.

Love the pageantry, though. Especially down South.

I wouldn't call a 7 point victory a blowout.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
I'd like to point out that the lineman did an amazing job keeping him safe, though.
I like Marcus Smart

He's probably not talking about that game.

I thought these were going to be Rajon Rondo's numbers from the team's flag football game.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I was amazed of that performance. I've been a fan of Geno since last year and I was like WOW.

I'm also amazed at the lack of defense those two programs.
