Don't hate on Kyrie.  He's going to turn heads this season.

(Not that #23 is anything to be ashamed of.  I think he'll end up in the top-15 on that list by the end of next year, though.)

I like Kyrie fine, I just don't think he's done enough to be put ahead of any of the other 22.

With a good second year he could move up a few spots but he'd have to look awfully good to pass guys like Westbrook, P Gasol, and Griffin.

Surprised not to see Iguodala on anybody's list. (Edit: Horford too)

I'd have Howard over Durant by a wide margin.

The one where Wade just got another ring and Howard is coming off major back surgery and in a new system?

I'd expect Howard to pass Wade soon, I just don't think he's there yet.

I would have Iggy in the late 20s to early 30s. I am thinking mid 20s for Horford.

KG just came in ranked 21 by the Twitter countdown.

It's not a terrible ranking given his age, but I think it's a mistake to put him below Rondo, Steve Nash, Chris Bosh, Tony Parker, Blake Griffin, and LaMarcus Aldridge at the very least.

Derrick Rose still has a lot of recovery ahead and wasn't a factor last year, so that's a weird comparison. Obviously KG will be/was more valuable than Rose this season/last season.

I guess that means I'd have him at 13.

The whole thing's a little weird, though, because I'm not sure if we're talking about Now, last year, next year, or something else. Anyone putting Blake Griffin in the top 20 is talking about the next few years. Anyone putting Rose there is talking about any time but right now. Anyone putting Bosh there is talking about an alternate universe where it rains banana pancakes. Etc...

So is Tyson Chandler now the most overrated "star" in the NBA?

In a heartbeat I'd take M Gasol, Duncan and Horford as bigs over him. What makes Chandler so much better than say Joakim Noah?

My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Lots of folks still underestimate Paul Pierce and Manu Ginobili.

If 90-100% healthy they are top 15. Sadly they are often damaged (Pierce often more effective handling the injuries) by the time the playoffs roll around. That makes me confidently rank them in the 20s.
