I say DMC because he fits more of an immediate need at starting center.  If Sullinger proves to be the real deal in two or three seasons.  Then it could be unnecessary to have he and Aldridge.  However, I believe Ainge would find it tough to acquire either player right now.

On the other hand, DMC is a tad closer to being a free agent and his team isn't making the playoffs in the foreseeable future.  But Sacramento could've a desire to move Tyreke Evans instead.

Yeah, that's why i want him, kg is most likely not to have as stellar a season as last.

This year and next = Aldridge
3-5 years time = Cousins

I don't know why people think Cousins is more attainable. He has just as much trade value as Aldridge has. Sacramento isn't parting with Cousins without getting a top 15 player back in return. Ditto for Portland with Aldridge.

He's not an All-Star (yet) and has some baggage. Just me, but with the right sweet talk bringing those facts up, he could be had for a little less.

It would have been a lot easier to get Cousins in the first half of the season last year when he was clashing with his coach.

It's a lot easier to imagine a clash with Tyreke and/or coaching/management that decreases his trade value (i.e. decreases what teams would be willing to give) than with LA. Also, Sac has some bad contracts, which may lessen the return for them if they wanted to dump one or two in the process. Also, Sac has monetary concerns, which may motivate them to want to dump salmons, hayes, etc in one deal that would cause less return value. No such scenario for Portland.

Personally, I never wrote that DMC was more attainable than Aldridge.  Actually, I believed that both players could prove hard to acquire via a trade right now.  However, I do think it's more realistic to target DMC than Aldridge given the makeup of Boston's roster and DMC's current situation.  Also, if the Kings should relocate to a different city, that's a factor in DMC's decision to re-sign or sign elsewhere in a few years.

In my opinion, now isn't the right time to think about DMC.  Wait until he reaches that point in his contract.  Because we all know that Sacramento is going to struggle this season, yet again.

DMC is headstrong.  He requires a head coach and veteran leaders he'll respect.  With Sacramento, he has to mature fast.

LaMarcus has already proven he can lead a playoff team as its best player. Their production should be pretty close, and when given the chance between crazy and not crazy, you should never choose crazy.
Do you think the craziness could be whipped out of him?

I think craziness can never be whipped out...but it can be reigned in a bit.  The problem is, it will always come back to some degree.
