Id rather get Demarcus Cousins!

I wouldn't. Dude is a walking attitude problem and we already have problems with Rondo from time to time. Aldridge at least one level above Cousins. Double post!

i would rather get Demarcus Cousins too. he is a center and it will allow Kevin Garnett to play power foward which he likes and it would make us a big team again. also, Demarcus Cousins has a ridiculous amount of potential and could be the 2nd best center in the NBA. also Demarcus is a better rebounder than LA. i know that Lamarcus Aldridge is big and a good scorer, but i prefer Demarcus Cousins... even if he is is labeled a knucklehead. he is still young and immature but will quickly grow up on a team like the celtics.

Makes him less impossible to get. While not LMA status, he'd still be hard to move.

Josh Smith is much more attainable, even Sideshow Bob could be had.

Trade Bass and pick to the Cavs for Sideshow Bob or Bass,Lee,filler and 1st for Josh Smith.

Yeah, I think Cousins can be a better player than LMA within 2-3 years.

I think it'd likely have to include Bradley, Sullinger, and Green to make the deal work, and only if Bradley regains his previous form, Sullinger proves to be legit, and Green is as least as good as he was in OKC.

And if that happens, we may not want to make the trade.

There's no way they are just taking Green and Lee.

DMC hasn't even reached his potential.. As for his attitude problem, I think KG, PP and Doc can handle that, and besides, he's already showing signs of maturity..
LA has already peaked.. And with Lilliard, the Blazers have their cornerstones so why would they let LA go?

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

From what I've read, despite how he has all sorts of "attitude problems", the guy wants to win. He can be emotional and foolish at times, but when he's on the court, all he wants to do is win.

Quote

"Man, you know, he’s crafty," Garnett said of Cousins. "He’s better. His antics and all that stuff, that come with him, it's just part of the game. He was aggressive, he got looks with being aggressive. The times when he had a chance to score, he took advantage of them.

Quote
"DeMarcus Cousins is a scary talent," Barkley said after the game. "He's got so much physical talent, if he were to get in the right situation with a guy like Moses Malone... Dr. J (Julius Erving), Maurice Cheeks, Andrew Tony, he could be the best big man in the NBA."

I see 11 monster rebounding games (18+), a 38/14 game, a 41/12 game, and a 21/20 game.

His stat line is 18.1 PPG, 11 RPG, 1.5 SPG, 1.2 BPG, and a .702 FT percentage.

I think his biggest weakness is fouls and getting into foul trouble so quickly in games. He averaged 4 a game. If you look in the PER 36 minutes, though, his numbers boost up quite a bit to 21.4 PPG, and 13 RPG.

I really do love Aldridge and what he brings to the table, but from where Aldridge is an 8, Cousins is an 8.5.
I like Marcus Smart

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I do he was number one on my mid-season trade wish list.

I think Bass, Sullinger, Bradley and filler could get it done.

I would rather have LA then cousins. However cousins would be much more attainable and we wouldn't have to give up as much to get him

Aldridge is better than DMC right now but, i think DMC will be better in a year or two. Also, DMC is probably easier to get because of his contract. Another thing, everyone wants to trade Jeff Green. I really like Jeff Green. He still has potential and has the physical tool to be an all-star some day. I wouldn't add much in a trade that would send out Green for Smith or Cousins or Aldridge. I wouldn't trade Green for Varejao.

I wouldnt trade Dino Radja for Varejo. I dont think there is anyway that I could root for him if he was on our team.

Did the Blazers hire Otis Smith or Kevin McHale as GM?
