When looking at a profile it is always interesting to look at the total posts and Tommy points to get some perspective on where the comment came from. Frequently there are new topics on "When did you first start posting/trolling/viewing celticsblog?". Well in case you can't see where this is going... I have read this site for a long time but do not post frequently, there are some that have been here a year and apparently have a lot of free time. How about a celticsblog sign on date in the bio? I understand there was a server crash at one point in the past but longevity can lead to credibility perhaps more so than the amount of posts and Tommy points.

I know it is within the bio but should be on the post side bar.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
Don't feel I'll be any more or less credible no matter how long I'll be here but I haven't been here very long so I'm not very credible.

But I love it and love my Celtics!!!!  ;D

I was looking around on the web and just happened to come across this place. By far the best sports fan site I've ever seen.

December 30, 2006 ... I thought I had been here longer, though.  Strange.  I seem to remember at some point the site switched from one location to another ... was that before or after 2006?

I checked a handful of profiles and noticed that IndeedProceed and Lucky17 also show they registered on December 30/31, 2006.  Edgar, Redz and lon3lytoaster within a week of that.  I couldn't find anyone earlier than that.  That must have been when the forum switched to the current location?  Jeff's profile shows November 2006... I'm guessing they were beta testing the new Forum a good month before it launched.

Edit:  Yeah... I remember now.  It use to be Celticsblog.net and it switched over.  The site has gone through a lot of changes.  Back in 2004 it looked like this: http://i.imgur.com/xw2jn.jpg

I also have a December 30, 2006 born on date. I hadnt been a member but maybe a year or so earlier and it was indeed on the CelticsBlog.net site.

Hard to believe it has been this long. Seems like yesterday.  ;D
