I really like the idea of putting Rondo on the floor with three players who have three-point range to spread the floor, so I've always wanted a stretch four who is a three-point shooter for the Celtics.
He seems like an intelligent player who is good at being where he is supposed to be on defense, so he seems like a better fit for the Celtics style of team defense than some make it out to be. He is neither a huge liability nor a lockdown defender. I think he is a better defender than Brandon Bass or Al Jefferson.
I do see him let frustration affect his game sometimes, but he is still only 24.
