Hopefully I could find time to see him in person here in Manila. He will be holding some basketball clinics and inaugurate a refurbished gym. He'll be here until Wednesday though.

Get back in that protective bubble, Rajon.  It's a dangerous world out there.  Who knows, he could end up getting beaten up by Manny Pacquiao or something while he's over there.

I'm just kidding, GreenHead.  I hope you get your chance to meet our point guard.

What he's doing this summer sounds awesome.  If I were young and extremely rich like Rajon Rondo, I would take the opportunity to travel and experience interesting, diverse cultures, as well, during my off time.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Danny needs to lock Rondo up for the long-term. What a cheap contract for an MVP candidate.

Very cool of Rondo to go globe trotting and rub elbows with the people.

I hope the Stern Gang goes easier on Rondo since he's such a good ambassador for the game.$$

Hopefully when Red Bull's plan pushes thru to set up their King of the Rock next year, he'll have a fan's day here in Manila.

Rajon might also be in the UAAP basketball games on Wednesday. He leaves later that day for HK.

Soo bummed. Didnt know beforehand he was coming. Glad to be able to see him, albeit only from afar. I went to watch my school (#1 rank team) vs the rank 2 team and was really surprised that rondo was there. Really sad I wasnt prepared for it and didnt get to meet him.

He obviously enjoyed the game, which was very hard fought and very physical which saw 2 techs, 4 flagrants and 3 ejections. He was seated at the skybox at first and after halftime he asked if he could transfer to courtside to watch it better.

Its really rare for Celtics players to visit the Philippines, the last was Paul Pierce in 2004 who i luckily met then. Hope he comes back for a fans day next year coz im tired of kobe visiting us yearly  >:(
