Trivia: What NBA team had on its payroll during a single year four of the top 10 players in NBA history, in terms of total career earnings?

Gonna guess it was us in 2010-11.  Shaq, KG, Pierce, RayJO?

Correct team and year, but Pierce was not in the top 10.

Who's the fourth then?  Marbury was 08-09.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Ohhh, on the payroll, not the active roster.  Gotcha.

Really makes you appreciate what a bargin Rajon's contract is right now.

Absolutely.

Also, how ridiculous is it that the lakers have three of the top 7?... Salary cap?...what salary cap?

In 2008-09 and 2009-10, the Boston Celtics had 3 of the top 12, which isn't really that much of a difference.

Kobe Bryant   L.A. Lakers   $27,849,149
Dirk Nowitzki   Dallas Mavericks   $20,907,128
Carmelo Anthony   New York Knicks   $20,463,024
Amar'e Stoudemire   New York Knicks   $19,948,799
Joe Johnson   Brooklyn Nets   $19,752,645
Dwight Howard   L.A. Lakers   $19,536,360
Pau Gasol   L.A. Lakers   $19,000,000
Chris Paul   LA Clippers   $17,779,458
Chris Bosh   Miami Heat   $17,545,000

All GREATLY overpaid if lebrinda makes as much as Bosh! His fault for making that team, but he deserves to be the highest paid, no question!
Some of these guys are underpaid. Lebron's contract is irrelevant since his contract his not his market value by any means due to salary rules.

A player's value is based on the value he can add to a team's ability to make $. Unfortunately, that formula is tricky due to the differences in how much money teams can make in their markets. In a sense, larger markets should be able to get better players since the better player generates more revenue to the team/league in that market, and the better player also generates more extra-salary revenue for themselves in larger markets.

Which ones are underpaid? Not na'n one (yes I said NA'N)! All of the best ones should make CP3 type money and Brinda should be paid the most. Kome is the most overpaid by far, it isn't even funny! I agree they are the best of the lot of players (except Bosh) and should be paid handsomely but about 20m is sufficient enough... NBA giving out money like these fools are on the government cheese line! If Bosh deserves as much money/close to it as any of those top guys then KG does too! I'm taking an old man KG over Bosh all day, all Bosh has over KG is youth (and I even think Bosh is an underrated player [not underpaid])!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

That is what I said too!
Does anyone know how many more years he has on his contract?

Rondo is so underpaid.
