Does the hate the Celtics sometimes garner frustrate you?

doesn't bother me at all.  I'm a Celtics fan.  not an NBA fan -- the game as it is today sucks. 

I don't care what anyone that follows another team thinks about them.

I go to a university that attracts students from all over the country, so some of my best friends are Bulls, Pacers, T-Wolves, Heat, and Knicks fans. They hate on the Celtics plenty, and at first I would try to show them how the Celtics are better than the Heat or Lakers. Eventually I realized I was splitting hairs with my arguments, and it was better to just let them hate and put my efforts to cheering on the Celtics, regardless of what they said.

I absolutely love it. Been a Celtics fan since I decided my favorite color is green. To combat the haters I ask who their favorite team is, if they say anyone but the Miami Heat, I say they suck. If they say the Miami Heat, I call them a liar. It typically ends in me dissecting their favorite team's past, present, and future and making them hate their current team.

You breathe on James, Wade, Rose, Durant, etc. and it's two free throws.

Rondo, Pierce, and others drive to the basket time and again and get far fewer calls.

I don't care what anyone else thinks, but if the ECF last season was officiated fairly (on equal terms), the Celts would have been in the Finals. 

I could care less if anyone dislikes our team.  We know the character of our team.  These are great guys and great teammates.  They play ball the right way.  They respect each other and their coaches.  They do everything the right way.  Win or lose, they're our Celtics.

People hate the Celtics because they were considered a white team for most of it's existence...despite the fact that most of our black players reside in the Hall of Fame. Now they hate the Celtics because they weren't relevant until recently and are taught to hate them by ESPN.

Fans of there teams are just jealous that we are some much cooler than they are. And the fact that we actually know how to cheer our team on and don't need cheering noise put out threw the speakers of the auditorium...Ahem *Miami*...

For me, the answer is no.  When national fans dislike you it simply means that they're paying attention to you.  On the other hand, I can see why it could bother New England Patriots fans seeing as the dislike is unwarranted when you consider the many years of being a losing franchise.  It's laughable.  In my opinion, you feel good for a franchise that has historically been bad and gets good, not hate them.  Competition is good for the league.

For the Celtics, a lot of the current hatred is directed at Garnett.  Thus, the Celtics team becomes guilty by association.  Notice how national fans were indifferent about Boston when they were losing prior to the Allen and Garnett trades.

I can understand the hate for KG but outside of him i am dumb founded at the league wide hate towards the Celtics. I'd say we're the second most hated team in the league outside of the Heat.

Seriously how can anyone hate Paul Pierce and Doc Rivers? I think it has to do with the city of Boston in general and the jealousy every other fan base has towards us. We can't help it if we're awesome
