Least favorite Celtic of the past era. What a dissapointment. Talked the talk but never walked the walk.

two faced slacker and whinner ... he couldn't play though a broken toenail.

Da's experiment with him as a Celtic =  EPIC FAIL

Wasn't it PT Barnum that said "There's a sucker born every minute"?

confusing signing for the Suns.  They unloaded talented players they didn't want to pay yet they bring in the biggest freeloader in the NBA today to pay him to be injured?  smh

The only reason I, slightly, care is because of him we wore KG out just a little bit faster.

Phoenix has the best medical staff and JO is going to have all the minutes he wants if he's healthy. It's a perfect fit for him. Best of luck, JO

Can't we just bring Gerald Green back?

 ??? ??? ???

I thought the perfect situation for JO was being in Boston? Sit on your ass for two years, collect $12M.  What could be better than that?

What is the relevance of loyalty in this situation? I am not aware of Ainge wanting to resign him.

The person who posted right above you tells you why? He signed with us, talked a bunch of crap about working hard for the celtics franchise and all his banner 18 crap, and then did nothing for two years but collect a check. Then he decides that he can no longer play basketball because of his wrist ::), and then a couple of months later signs with the suns.

JO wanted to be good. Gimme a break. He was slow, had nagging injuries (wrist, hammy, knee, whatever) and couldn't deliver.

Apparently, he trained really hard last off season but the wrist doomed him and he didn't look that good anyways. He wasn't a bad guy.

It sucks he didn't have it but he tried to contribute.

Just proves that there are complete idiot GMs out there.

Guy spends 4 of the last 5 seasons completely tanking..."Injured"...Whines about his role...

His wrist was sure as hell good enough to sign those checks.

Disgusting human being.  Only regret is that he didn't either sign there a year earlier or with LA.  O'Neal and los Nash deserve each other.

If JON plays in 60+ games at a level that is at least adequate for a back-up center, does it say more about him or about the relative quality of the Phoenix vs Boston medical staffs?
