Good for 15-20 wins.

And with the first pick in the 2013 NBA draft, the Orlando Magic select (future Laker) Nerlens Noel from the University of Kentucky

It's almost as if it were planned that way...

I think that team has a chance to be half way decent/respectable. You just gotta send BBD and Turkoglu to Antarctica or the Bermuda Triangle or something

A friend of mine played with him at Tilton. Super talented; a natural shot blocker.

Glen Davis is their best player. Theyre going to win 10-14 games.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I heard the SVP show podcast where they had BBD. He seems to want to take over the leadership role and ready to be the man for this team. Hope he can live with what he said, I think he's capable of becoming a star, good luck with him.

Afflalo also blossomed last year. They're not a playoff team for sure though.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons

I actually feel bad for the magic fans with the way this off-season went down there really isn't a silver lining.

The fact that they resigned nelson and didn't at least get rid of turkaglu in a howard trade kills me.

The Cs bench would probably have a better record then the magics starters.

Orlando
Nelson   = Terry
Afflalo  > Lee
Turkaglu < Green
BBD      > Sullinger (at least for a little while)
Vucevic  < Wilcox

Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

I think you guys are underselling that team a bit.  They have a lot of quality role players.  I think that team is a 25-30 win team and wouldn't be surprised if they hit 32 or 33.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing myself.  A pretty similar roster to this one (with Dwight out due to back surgery) was able to take one game from the Pacers in Round 1 and force another into overtime, which I would think teams like the Bobcats and Nets would have had trouble doing last year.  This year they add Afflalo and Harrington, who are both decent players, and Vucevic, Harkless, and Nicholson as well.

I'm not saying they'll make the playoffs or anything, but a 25-30 win season doesn't seem implausible.

I do wonder how the departure of Stan Van Gundy impacts their performance.
