HAA!! LOL don't see em starting for years either Sully or Melo . But, I wouldn't be surprized to see em in trash minutes early on , just so DA and Doc can see how they react. They might be valuable near playoff time to keep the 1st and 2 nd stringers healthy.
One important point that I now believe is Rondo's opinion on such matters count and his feed back to Doc on which of the rookies "might" be ready for a few "serious minutes" under fire at some point in the season might get one in a game.
Dude, Sullinger was a projected top 3 pick in 2011 if he had come out.
As a sophomore, Sullinger lost a bunch of weight that prevented him from dominating inside offensively.
Between the less dominant inside game and his back concerns, Sullinger dropped in the draft.
Now Sullinger is back up to his natural playing weight, which allows him to go toe-to-toe with most big men in the league, while expanding a perimeter game Doc Rivers was aware of since high school.
Do you expect the top 5 picks in this year's draft to start?
What about top 10 picks? Consider Sullinger a top 5-top 10 pick, and project his role accordingly.
Celtics are a terrible rebounding team without Sullinger.
