Haha, yeah, it's risky for Terry. Although one other Twitterer had a good point. Something along the lines of "when are people going to realize that Terry is going to retire a Celtic and that the Celtics have 17 of those trophies. Not a big deal!"

I think "Darren Fisher" missed when Terry got a tatoo of the NBA Trophy before the season when Dallas ended up winning it.  That's the whole reason he got this one, to continue that tradition again.

when he inevitably fails to win a title in Boston (not to be pessimistic... I appreciate his enthusiasm... a title is just highly unlikely) ... it will make his original accomplishment seem irrelevant. 

"Did you know that jason terry got a championship trophy tattoo'd on him... and then won a title with Dallas?"

"yes... but who cares... he did the same thing in Boston and they won 45 games"

That's like pointing to the rafters and hitting a home run... then doing the exact same thing (and failing) on your next at bat.
