Lets just say the Magic took it on this one.

Where do they go from here.

They have at least 10 forwards one rookie Center and a couple of shooting Guards.

You could trade Davis and Harper ASAP; but Harper is unproven and Davis is getting paid. No one will take Turkoglu (he has a player option for 2013).

I don't know, but they have one of the least likeable fanbases in all of sports... a bunch of delusional punks.  I'm absolutely thrilled they are going to toil in lotto hell for the foreseeable future.

LOL@Orlando fans.

Anyone remember that punk who made the video prior to the 2010 ECF where he said the Magic were going to sweep Boston?  I've loved every second of their downfall since that moment.

Unfortunately he eventually deleted that video... but here's one of him talking about how he wouldn't trade Jameer Nelson for Chris Paul:

I assumed that buttnugget was an aberration until I spent 5 minutes on a Magic forum and realized they were all equally insane and rude.  Something about living in Disney World makes you lose your wits, I guess.  The pain Magic fans are feeling right now almost makes up for the fact the Lakers are going to win 75 games.

Lose 60 games a year and collect two to three top 5 draft picks to begin rebuilding their team.

Stern is going to give them the #1 pick like he did for New Orleans...

Nothing.  Orlando's return on this trade is one of the worst I can remember seeing.

Nah.  Even if the league was "fixed", I don't know how having a star in Orlando really benefits the league that much.  Here's hoping their fans give up and they move to Seattle.

A bag of chips and a swift kick in the backside by Dwight Howard.

Saw something that Jameer Nelson had resigned; but he is not on their roster.

Are they going to bring on their summer league team and Al Harrington have to feel for that guy.

Pretty bad and all because the did not want to give Dwight his first choice. Wow.

Thank you for explaining it to me in such a simplistic yet effective way.

The Magic looks like they're in a complete rebuilding program. I don't think they'd wantbtontake back big contracts and start over with whatever pieces they have and build thru the draft.

They got tons of picks, young guys in Vucevic and Harkless. Vucevic could atleast be a solid backup and Harkless' upside is very high according to experts. Afflalo had a great year, and might continue to improve, he's another nice piece to have since he's also relatatively young.

Still, BRooklyn had the better offer, maybe they don't want to take 60mil of Brook Lopez.

The Magic, according to their GM, also got a $17.8 million trade exception, which they have a year to use.

That adds a good amount of value to the deal in my eyes.

They bottomed out, which is better than remaining mediocre.

Cleveland got #1 pick for losing LeBron in 2011 also. If the trend continues, the Orlando Magic will get 2013 #1 Lottery Pick, whether they have the worst or 5th worst record in the league.

Well, that is something. They need to use that TE exceptionally judiciously. Perhaps they can leverage it to acquire a couple more draft picks.

Maybe Harkless turns into a top notch player for them. No one else on their current roster begs optimism.
