THANK YOU!! What i have been reading lately is disgusting to say the least. Some people are already doubting the celtics can win because of something a WESTERN team did?! Like this guarantees the lakers a finals spot. Last time i checked that OKC team is pretty good and the spurs aren't gonna just roll over either. Howard has yet to prove he can thrive in the big moments. He has been shut down before by PERK. Oh yeah, OKC has perk don't they? People are letting the hype suck them in. Ill worry about the lakers IF we meet them in the finals and not a DAY before that.

even with all the moves made this off-season, I see the Celtics as the 2nd best team in the east right now...nothing that has happened changed that.

philly, knicks, nets should give us trouble, but with our added depth and how we play defense I put us over them.

as for LA, the moves they made make them legit contenders, but theres really no telling how howards back is going to be, and its not like the Spurs and OKC have gone away...

Really?? Howard is coming off major back surgery that cost him the 2nd half of last season. There is a difference in simply being older and more susceptible to "wear and tear" injuries and a Center with serious back issues. A Center who obviously plays in the post and gets banged a lot.

Seroiously man. Ray Allen is gone ok? HE'S GONE! Trolling on KG and Paul won't bring Ray back. You need to get an outlet or something. Yoga? Pilates? Anything. Well in the defense of some, there is a difference in being upset over a rival getting better than saying we have no chance to win now because of this move. I'm reading a lot of that on this site and quite frankly it's a bit surprising. So many posters willing to just mail it in and say we have no shot against Miami. No shot against LA. It's like last year didn't even happen. We had "no shot" when we got to the All Star break last year. It's like some people forgot what this team is about. Makes me kinda sad.

Because they're the defending champions with the best player in the world and have gotten even better in the offseason.

All tho i wouldn't agree that it would take a MAJOR COLLAPSE to beat miami. I do agree with people locking us in the finals against the lakers. Its laughable to say the least. We haven't even proven we can beat the heat yet and people are over here worrying about the lakers lol. Ill tell u what the day the lakers become an issue that's good news for the C's because that would mean we're in the finals. Until that happens all my focus is on the heat not some western team that we MIGHT see one day.
