Yeah, LA got Howard, every one new it was coming, Big freaking deal.

Every time I log on a crap ton of people have given up on the season. Why? Because a team we MIGHT face got a very good player.

So what, doesn't mean they will click, they still have the ball hogging Kobe, and the time bombing Metta.

Our team was just fine two days ago, and thought could beat Miami. Who I think right now is the more dangerous team because of match ups.

I think people forget that our old, banged up team with out any bench help took the..argh...Champs(I threw up a little in my mouth thinking it) 7 games.

No we actually have a bench. A realy freaking bench with guys that could start on some teams.

Lee is a better fit for this team and Rondo, some one that will run with him and can also spot up and shoot, and play good D.

Terry can go off at any time for 20 points.

Bradley can still defend.

Green my actually be motivated to play hard.

Wilcox has things to prove.

And Rondo with this team could be a beast.

I really like this team, they have the same character that last years team did, but more of it. That right there can go a long way.

Heres the thing. I got into basketball in the 90's. And being in the middle of no wheres, the only games I saw was Bulls games, and so I was a Bulls fan. 9 years later a became friends with a guy that I was playing basketball with. He'd invite me over to watch games. He was a Cletics fan. I was just happy to watch games, it didn't matter. Now one game a week started to become a couple games, and then just about every time the Celtics played I would be there.

And over a course of a couple seasons just absolutely fell in love with the team. Were they title contenders? No. But there was some thing about them that just grabbed me. I didn't know what it was at the time, why I loved watching this team. Good, mediocre, or just plan bad, aka the 22 win season. but now I do.

Heart and Character

Even before KG there was something about the teams, not every season, but most, was the heart, and how hard they played every game. I mean the come back game that Peirce lead against the Nets was I think were I really came together for me as a fan.

I had fun rooting for the young bucks watching them develop. Why? Because thats what fans do. Seeing the character of Peirce during the 22 win season teaching the youngins how to play, coming back after the injury when he didn't have to just to play. He went from being a bit of a punk the year before, to becoming a mentor, and a leader for the team.

During my short time as a fan, every season i have hope. Hope the team will do well. Do some thing special. Even last season, up till about the all star break, I beleived in this team. But they still weren't playing well, and I didnt stop rooting for them, but was at peace with the breaking up the band. But then they made their run. Bradley gave them the spark they needed, KG came into form, and then the play offs. Almost getting to the finals after the horrible start to the season is why I give faith to this team every year.

Yes there will be ups and downs, but thats part of being a FAN. Its not easy..Unless your a Miami fan with Stern by your side, but thats what being competitive is, hard, ups and downs, trials.

We are not the Bobcats, the Bucks, or the Kings. We are the fans of the Celtics. There is no give up before it starts. And with this team out side of injury there is a chance that 18 will come this year. Its not over, its just beginning...

I like our chances this season if we're healthy.

A Center with major back issues. We'll see how long he's out and how he fares when he comes back. I'm not worried yet.

And who knows?

After perhaps one season in PHI, Andrew Bynum, looking at how Rajon Rondo takes care of the team, could be enticed to wear Green.

Start working on him, Doc!!

Thank you for starting this post.

I was starting to think this site's name was going to be changed to
inferioritycomplextowardsthelakers.com

About time somebody noticed that we have a good team too (and so does Miami and OKC, we might not even play the Lakers in the playoffs).

Totally with you on this.

Good job by Denver though.  Getting Igodala for Aflalo and Harrington was genius.

Yeah both Denver and the 76'ers got sweet deals out of it. Denver is going to be dangerous in the playoffs. Igodala can guard both Metta and Kobe. Could knock them out, or any team really. They may not have quite enough to win it all, but could trip some one up, same as the 76'ers...Just hope its not us! LOL!

all the negativity in this blog sucks. Dwight Howard is not coming thru that door.  ;D

Cheer up people. We are a deep squad.
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

Remember how it went when Kobe last had Shaq, and GP and Malone too.

I hoping for that.
