Well, it looks like Superman has found a home. I wish nothing but the best for Big Bynum. I hope he follows what was a great season last year with an even better one next year. I know LA is excited about the deal and rightfully so. The Lakers landed a piece that will hopefully carry the franchise long after I'm gone. I have spoken to Dwight Howard already and we are locked and loaded to bring back the title. Wow, what a summer Jimmy and Mitch have had so far. Unreal! I'm focused on our semifinal game vs Argentina but I had to pause for a few to send you my thoughts, in case you were curious..

At least Kobe knows he needs help, Dwight is the man.  Kobe = Aquaman and Dwight is Superman, Gasol = the wonder twin Jace.

the more i think about it the Lakers are going to have a real hard time making it out of the West. I could realistically see them losing to OKC, LAC or even Denver.

If OKC continues to trend upwards like they have been in previous seasons, then I give them the edge. They're just too athletic for the Lakers. Perk and Ibaka are both good enough defenders to combat Dwight and Gasol.

Clippers should improve too. CP3 is in his second year there and should be more comfortable. Add in another off season of improvement from Griffin. They're a force to be reckoned with.

Looks like the west is loaded again.

Well,the only silver lining I see here is that Kobe and Gasol will both be coming off the Olympics and are both over 30.  That, paired with Nash's age (he makes the C's old guys look young) could lead to some disappointment in LA.

OKC will be the toughest matchup for the lakers. But Dwight could get in a lot of foul trouble. Nash and Gasol are go to get beat a lot and Dwight is going to be helping a lot on players like Griffin,CP3,Westbrook,Harden,and Durant. So we will see. I honetly am not all that scared of them either. I am just jealous a bit because they get superstars handed to them we have to wait 22 years for something to be done.

OKC saw this coming and got Perk to neutralize Howard. Hopefully, this new-look Lakers pan out to be the 2004 Lakers disaster.
