Has anyone here seen the Celtics play in LA against the Lakers? How crazy was it? I am in the early stages now of planning a guy trip to LA to see the Celtics vs. Lakers.

Yes, I've seen it many times starting in 1977 as a very young boy.  Since the Lakers moved from the Forum to the Staples Center, I've seen them play about 6 or 7 times.  More recently, I saw them for Game 3 of the '08 Finals, and twice in 2010 (regular season and Game 6 of the Finals (the game Perk tore his knee)   :-[  .  Many Laker fans are cool, but a great majority of them have big mouths.

In Game 6 of the 2010 Finals, I went with my wife and my daughter.  I used the restroom and was standing at the urinal shaking hands with the president and was called out for 2 fights........ funny thing is that I wasn't making eye contact with anyone for that purpose. During the 2008 Finals, I used the restroom and the tension was so thick while I was waiting in line that you could literally cut it with a knife.  Nobody said a word the whole time.
We all think we know more than we really do....
