If he matured mentally, learned to shoot (his FG% was 38% last year ... for a ****' center), learned to rebound, learned how to pass the ball without turning it over, and generally understood anything about the game of basketball, he has the potential to be a decent backup big.

Seriously, I don't understand how anyone who watches basketball can look at this guy and think he is any good. He is literally one of the worst players in the league. But people are unreasonably obsessed with size and point totals, even though they are completely meaningless if you don't take everything else into account.

For the millionth time, it doesn't matter if he scores 20 points if he is taking 25-30 shots to do so. In that scenario he is HURTING YOUR TEAM. Why do people not understand this simple concept?

I just can't take your post seriously at all. The guy has been in the league for 7 years and has taken more than 25 shots in a game a whopping 2 times.

Its just hard to convince me he's not good when you make up stuff. Its a convincing argument but i could easily turn around and say the guy is a double double machine

I've never disliked Blatche.

I hope he goes to San Antonio...a great, Veteran team, with a Great coach.

I've always thought he was better than he appeared to be in WAS. After all, look at Javale McGee's performance in the playoffs vs LA - the man played well and hard. He's still raw, but IMO he's worth the 4 yrs - 44 mil contract he signed. He showed me signs in that playoff round.

Same with Blatche - the man is talented..oftentimes you just need to move to a different team and new surroundings to make your mark.

I hope he does well...I just think Spurs are a better fit for him.

I think with the Lakers trade completed, we should be looking more into signing Blatche. I don't care if he's a potential lockerroom disruption. All I care about is what a guy can do on the hardwood. He's a quality rebounder and another big to help us match up in the potential we clash with the Lakers in the finals. Thoughts?

Just the thought of Blatche matching up against Dwight brings me chills.

Sorry, no Blatche. He's been in the league for a while now. If he still doesn't get it, I am afraid he might never. He's not the first player in the history of NBA who had good talent but never quite "got it". I'll be perfectly okay if he brought his "talents" to South Beach.
