Nice interview. It sounds like his knee was a little worse in the playoffs than I thought it was, if it's even now only back to 90% or so. I also like how he brought up Allen first.  :P

Loved it.

I hope the Jeff Green situation is resolved soon, because he is crucial to keeping Paul's min's down.

If/When Paul Pierce gets to the post-season healthy, look out NBA.

I think PP comes across as one of the most genuine and sincere players in general in the NBA.  When talking to the media, so many guys either go the Rasheed route of 'both teams played hard' or the Lebron BS responses that everyone knows is just for good PR.

Ask him who out of the new guys he's most excited about, and PP says 'Jason Terry.'  Ask him if he's talked to Ray this summer, and he replies, 'Just a few texts, I'm still a little bitter he went to Miami...but I probably wouldn't have a ring if it wasn't for Ray.'

the things i would do to the interviewer....but yeah good interview. sounded like he reflects a lot of thoughts that we share on CB lol maybe he's been reading
"My name is Shaquille O'Neal, and Paul Pierce is the [expletive] truth. Quote me on that, and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Yeah agreed though you could tell it was pretty weak then.  All of his step back type shots were terrible and he didn't have the lift on his jumpers in general.

Like everyone here I liked the interview and the blond. But why do they have a number 11 jersey in a frame?

Wow Paul is so down to earth ...no wonder he goes to Red Lobster.... ;D

He should never be in any other uniform...PERIOD.

We "need" Green to play Pauls minutes to allow Paul to continue to heal and be ready for the playoffs.

Alot of pressure on Jeff Green to come though.

Amen to that!  Great interview. Some new insights on last season and obvious excitement about what Danny has done this off-season.

As an aside, Molly is a terrible interviewer.  Each of her questions seemed to be after things he just stated.
