Minnesota is finalizing a two-year, $20 million contract with free agent forward Andrei Kirilenko, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Kirilenko's deal with the Wolves is expected to include a player option for the 2013-'14 season, sources said.

Makes sense, money talks.

That's close to the BAE, right?

What Kahn wants, Kahn gets.

So what is their roster like?

Pekovich at the 5
Love at the 4
Kirilenko at the 3? Or Williams there.
Roy at the two
Rubio at the one

Not sure about their bench. I know they have Budinger.

Dumb move -- I wish Kirilenko would move back to PF instead of playing the three.

Not worth that type of money at SF. He is worth it at PF.

Who cares what color he is?  If you can play, you can play...  And the same is true if you can't play...  That aside, I still don't think this Minny team is all that much improved...

C:  Nikola Pekovic, Greg Stiemsma
PF: Kevin Love, Derrick Williams
SF: Andrei Kirilenko, Chase Budinger
SG: Brandon Roy, Alexey Shved
PG: Ricky Rubio, Luke Ridnour, JJ Barea

That is a pretty solid team.

I am thinking 45-50 wins. Maybe more if those shooting guards pan out.

Thats a pretty decent squad to try and continue the run they had going to start last year. AK47 is a great move for the Wolves even if its a little high in price range. If Roy can stay healthy and play decent minutes for them thats a playoff bound team for sure...

And honestly. AK47 at 10 a year > Batum at 12 a year

Can Love play C, Kirilenko play PF, and Williams or Budinger play SF?

I don't think Derrick Williams has shown much at SF to date.

I would expect him to play PF whenever Kevin Love is not there. That would take up all the available minutes at power forward.

Wow, I generally don't think GMs think about color when picking guys but what are the odds of a team with 8 of their top 10 players are white?  Isn't the league 75% black?  There is nothing wrong with it I guess as most of them are actually decent players, I just think people will think Kahn only wants white guys.  This has to be the whitest team in like 20 years at least.
