Out of Jeff Green, Avery Bradley and Jared Sullinger who has the best shot at some day making an all-star team?

Green is the closest right now but will he make the jump in production?

AB will be on all nba defensive teams but will his offense ever get to the level to make an all-star team?

Sullinger is the biggest long shot but has the skills to do it.

none of them.  I think they'll be solid performers but not all-stars

Green, because all star nods are about offense and if he was force fed 30+ minutes a game and made the focus of the offense once paul is gone i think he'd have a shot of averaging 20-22 a game.

I don't think it will happen though, or rather if it does we'll be finishing 6th in the conference  ;)

Avery.

But realistically, more likely none of them.  All-Star is a pretty tall mountain to climb.  There are some good players in the NBA who will never make an All-Star team.

Sullinger.  He has the chance to go as either a forward or a center at this point in his career, which gives him more chances.  I like Green, but don't ever see him ascending to all-star status.  Bradley is an amazing defender, but no one likes defense at all-star games.

I think Bradley has the best chance to make an All-NBA team.

AB's got a real good chance to make the All-Defensive team, but there aren't too many players who have made the All Star game based on their defensive prowess.

Jeff Green, I just don't see how he's gotten much better since his second season, so I have no reason to expect he's going to make the leap now.  There's a chance he'll be a 20PPG scorer when Pierce retires, just because he's going to be getting a lot of minutes, but just looked like a decent NBA player, not a star int the making.  But, there's a chance he'll accumulate a lot of "volume" stats in two years.  Depending on who else (besides LeBron) will be accumulating stats in two or three years' time; Joe Johnson will likely have fallen off by then, Pierce will probably be retired, so maybe they'll be a dearth of scoring wings in the Eastern Conference in a few years.  Doubtful, but possible, he makes the ASG.

Sully...  who knows?  Kid was perceived to have lottery TALENT, so if he stays healthy that implies that he's perceived to have at least near-All Star POTENTIAL.  But, who knows at this point?  All we've seen in Summer League, when he was strong but didn't dominate.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Fab Melo.

No seriously, the bar for centers is set pretty low.

I was thinking that too. It's a 1 in a million chance but that's better then these other guys.

The answer is D, all of the above.

Two haven't hit puberty yet, right ?  The other hits 26 next month and is far from being a finished product.  The talent is there with all of them to be all stars at some point in their careers, it's now up to them to put in the work and get there.

1. Bradley
2. Sullinger

3. Green

Bradley has shown for a long stretch starting that he's capable of all-star level play, he'd just need to increase his PPG to make the team. Sullinger has the potential to make a team or two depending on his minutes and team success, plus he's an unknown NBA wise.

Green I feel like only has a very small chance, he's already been a 30+ MPG starter for a team that featured him prominantly. If he was capable of being an all-star at the F position I feel like he'd have at least shown us flashes of it.

I too like Bradley's chances best, however I just don't see it happening in the next 2-3 years for any of them.  That said, I do think Sully will be in attendance at the festivities this year(and next) with the rookie/2nd year challenge so that counts in a very marginal way;)

 ???

By prominently do you mean let him start out of position and be the 3rd/4th option on offense?
