Regarding the whole "Elton Brand: Statistically the best player since Chamberlain" thing, didn't Gerald Green last year prove that statistically he is a legitimate NBA player?

The reason I ask this is because I think he's a mental midget, BBIQ speaking and a farce of a player that will be back in the NBDL in no time.

So statistically, anything is possible in basketball, I guess.

I just love how a player is stuck in a bad situation in his career and deemed a loser and team killer.. YET He was one of the better players on the team that beat the mavs a few years back. Since then the warriors took that team apart at the seems. He also won MIP that year since then he has been a scoring machine. But yes he isn't on the Celtics and has been on a crappy team for years so he is a team killer, Oh yeah he also got in an off-season accident. So of course he'll never amount to anything.

Glad that has been settled :)

I heard Brand is the best defensive player in NBA history except for Bill Russell.

If it makes you feel any better I'll trade for him...how's Austin Rivers, straight up. You get all that negativity off your team and a very likable and similar player in return

All that said, I still think Dallas has the best team this year and will be voting that way. Thing is, I would bet money they don't win it all.

WHY CAN'T YOU JUST SAY NICE  .JPEG? WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SO CRUEL?

Again, Ellis fan over hurr, but he wasn't even the 4th best player on that team.

Monta Ellis was 6th in minutes during GS's 2007 playoff run and averaged 8.0 ppg. He was not one of their better players.

Well if Dallas ain't winning it that means teams with purple and gold still can. How is that cruel? I thought it a hopeful thing for teams other than Dallas ;) ;D

but what's your argument then? there's 12 players on a basketball team. The point was that he was better than half of the players on a team that one a single playoff series?

again, I'm an ellis guy but that's just not a good point

11 minutes left NYC. Rivers for Ellis. Stright up. Here publicly for all to witness that we agree.
