There is a reason why teams aren't signing west. Low talent, low basketball iq, poor handle for a guard his size, and major off court instabilities. Never liked him as a player, but wish him the best and hope he can make it overseas

We're talking about Delonte West, I find this description at odds with his past performance.

Hmm...I thought he had already signed with the Mavs.  Now there is a hold-up?

Delonte as a pure basketball talent is worth far more than the Vet Min.  Probably worth more than the "room exception" as well.  Teams are just scared off by his injury history, and mental disorder.

I hope someone gives him a mutli-year deal worth the mini-mle, that seems to be where I think his true market value lies.  Will he get it, I doubt it, but I do hope.
